Raven 2: Dimensional Rift Guide – Rules, Combat, and Rewards

Raven 2 May-29-2026 PST

The Dimensional Rift is a high-stakes, mixed PvE/PvP endgame activity in Raven 2. Unlocked at Level 70, this mode strips away your identity, forces you into solo combat, and rewards aggression—but punishes carelessness. To maximize your performance inside the Rift, you may choose to buy Raven 2 Crystal to enhance your gear and stats, giving you the edge needed to dominate both monsters and hostile players. Read this guide to master the Rift.

How to Access the Dimensional Rift

First, reach Level 70. Then open the main menu (☰) and select Dimensional Rift. A critical reminder: you cannot enter while in a party, so leave your party first. Also, entry is disabled 30 seconds before the Rift closes, so don’t wait until the last moment.

Understanding the Interface

When you open the Dimensional Rift screen, you will see several key elements:

A loot list for the boss monster “Dimensional Herald,” which appears from the 4th Dimension and above.

The main loot and rules for the Dimensional Rift.

A display showing which dimensions you can enter based on your Combat Power, along with ranking rewards.

Your current Dimensional Energy and the required Combat Power for entry.

Your Dimensional Energy grade, which also appears above your character in-game.

Finally, the Enter Dimension button to start.

Combat Power & Entry Requirements

Combat Power is calculated from your Attack, Accuracy, and Defense stats. The following buffs are counted toward your Combat Power: Tower of Chaos buffs, event buffs, and other players’ buffs. Your highest recorded Combat Power determines which Dimension you can enter. Higher dimensions offer better rewards but come with stronger enemies and tougher PvP opponents.

Inside the Rift – Key Rules

Anonymity and Hostility – All Special Corps Members from your same region appear identical. Everyone else has the same displayed name, and information such as guild, alliance, and “Cruel” are hidden. Most importantly, all other players are hostile enemies.

Restricted Actions – You cannot use Return, Teleport, or the World Map. If you are engaged in combat, you cannot exit the Rift.

Visibility is limited inside the Rift, so you must stay alert as you hunt monsters or engage in PvP battles.

Dimensional Energy – The Core Currency

Dimensional Energy is what you fight for. Here is how it works.

Gaining Energy – When you land the final blow on a PvP opponent, you gain a certain amount of their Dimensional Energy. You also gain more Energy when the opponent’s Combat Power is higher than yours. Additionally, defeating a PvP opponent gives you the “Grit of the Dimension” buff, which provides Additional ATK vs. Undead (the buff effects vary by Rift). When you deliver the final blow to a monster, you obtain Dimensional Energy, Gold, Experience, and loot.

Losing Energy – If you are defeated in PvP, you lose a portion of your held Dimensional Energy. You lose even more Energy when the opponent’s Combat Power is lower than yours. Also, if you exit the Rift before it ends, your Dimensional Energy is reduced. However, if a monster defeats you, you do not lose any held Dimensional Energy.

Important notes – Karma points are not deducted for killing enemies, and PvP is not recorded in the ranking or combat record.

The Dimensional Herald (Boss)

The boss monster “Dimensional Herald” appears starting from the 4th Dimension and above. The number of bosses and their spawn locations vary by Dimension. You can obtain loot either by delivering the final blow to the Herald or by destroying parts of the Herald. Be warned: the Dimensional Herald will disappear if not defeated within its spawn time.

Death and Respawning

If you die inside the Rift, you will respawn after a certain amount of time. You do not lose experience when defeated.

Rankings and Rewards

Rankings are calculated based on the Special Corps Members who are present inside the Rift at the time it ends. This is crucial: even if you have obtained Dimensional Energy during the Rift, you will be excluded from ranking rewards if you are not inside the Rift when it closes.

Rewards are distributed based on rankings determined at the time the Dimensional Rift ends. However, you must possess at least 100 Dimensional Energy to receive ranking rewards.

Pro Tips

Stay until the end – Leaving early costs you Energy and ranking rewards. Always remain inside when the Rift closes.

Pick your fights carefully – Defeating stronger opponents yields more Energy, but losing to weaker opponents hurts more because you lose a larger portion of your Energy.

Don’t fear monster deaths – Since you lose no Energy when a monster defeats you, farming monsters is a safer way to build up baseline Energy if PvP feels too risky.

Watch the clock – Entry cuts off 30 seconds before closing. Plan your runs accordingly.

Target Herald parts – You can obtain loot even without landing the final kill on the boss by destroying parts of the Dimensional Herald.

Enter the Rift, fight anonymously, and emerge with Dimensional Energy—or lose it all to a weaker enemy. For those looking to gain an edge without breaking the bank, you can buy cheap Raven 2 Crystal from MMOEXP to bolster your character before battle. Good luck, Special Corps Member.
